As Manager of Recruitment, De’Marco Fomby works to develop the NTR recruitment plan that increases the pipeline of diverse talent for our educational ecosystem. In this role, he will work to cultivate connections with local organizations and support new systems and pathways for potential residents.
Before joining NTR, De’Marco worked across the country to facilitate professional development workshops and assemblies for school districts and community organizations. He has a background in youth leadership development and over eight years of non-profit programming, conference coordination, and fundraising experience. Most recently, he spent time recruiting at RePublic Schools, identifying and screening teacher candidates to serve the charter school network in Jackson, MS, and Nashville. De’Marco holds a degree in psychology and is pursuing a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Belmont University.
